FINDING A GOOD FIT
Making the decision to begin therapy may not be easy for everyone, and finding a therapist who is a good fit may be one more challenge during this process. Therefore, I encourage you to contact me with any questions, or schedule an initial consultation, usually 50-minutes in length, that would allow you to make a more informed decision.
The initial meeting is an opportunity for you to better gauge how I work, my style and approach to therapy, and ask questions that would help you in the decision-making process. This time also helps me to gain a better understanding of the concerns that brought you into therapy, address any immediate issues or needs, and establish a plan for moving forward, including scheduling additional sessions, or making referrals.
The scope of my therapeutic practice includes:
- Couples therapy
- Individual therapy
- Play therapy for children
- Adolescent therapy
- Family therapy
- Group therapy
